Effective immediately, OmegaSatter will begin US distribution of the Flipbac™, the brand new angle viewfinder and LCD screen protector for digital cameras. OmegaSatter plans to leverage its more-than-70-year experience as a distributor of photographic equipment to increase the Flipbac’s availability in the domestic market.

Between the industry’s transition to digital and manufacturers’ attempts to cut production costs, an indispensable camera feature has been lost in recent years. Seeing the need, Flipbac Innovations developed the Flipbac, a foldout viewfinder accessory that easily attaches to many point-and-shoot and digital SLR cameras. Its use will again allow the professional or amateur photographer to capture natural, relaxed portraits without hiding behind their lens, and to shoot over crowds or at low angles with ease.

The Flipbac’s design gives photographers the ability to work from ground level, waist level, or high overhead—all while keeping the camera’s LCD clearly in view. Its dual-hinged mirror design opens vertically or horizontally to more than 180 degrees, allowing for both landscape and portrait positions. The Flipbac works with many cameras, including the Canon G10, the Panasonic LX3, and the Nikon D300.

Under this new distribution agreement, the Flipbac can now be found at photo retailers nationwide. The Flipbac Angle Viewfinder is currently available in 3-inch black and silver models for an MSRP of $19.99.
